Ms. Ziegler is the Director for Religious Education and the Assistant Principal at Mount Calvary. She has been at Mount Calvary for 8 years. She helps prepare families for the reception of the sacraments of Baptism, Reconcilliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. She also works with children and adults who wish to become Catholic. On Sunday we have religion classes for students who attend public school.
She has 3 adult children, Elizabeth, Alison, and David. Alison and her husband, Grant have a daughter Addison. David and his wife, KK have a daughter, Amanda and a son, Jonathan. Grandkids are the best! She enjoys reading and cooking.
Ms. Ziegler has an AA degree in Dental Assisting from Prince George's Community College. She attended Trinity University and received a certificate in the Education for Parish Service program. She is a certified Religion teacher for the Archdiocese of Washington and a Minister for Religious Education. She serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and am on the Parish Council at St. Joseph's Church, Pomfret where she has been a member for 25 years. She loves serving God's people here at Mount Calvary and hope to be here for many years to come. |
