As we begin our Lenten journey, you are invited to participate in Catholic Relief Services' Operation Rice Bowl. Throughout Lent we will pray, fast, learn, and give as a way to reach out in solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world. Please be sure to take home a Rice Bowl packet. Only cash or coin is accepted. |

Black History Month Presenation |

As part of Black History Month there will be a special screening of the film, The Help, on Saturday, February 25 at 2:00 pm in the Lower Hall of the school. All are invited to attend.
A free-will donation of non-perishable food will be accepted for the Food Pantry. |

Lent Begins - Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012
Masses at 8:30 am with the school and 7:30 pm.
Stations of the Cross
- Fridays of Lent at 10:00 am with the school
- Fridays of Lent at 7:00 pm in the evening preceded by a light meal of soup and crackers at 6:00 pm in the church vesitbule.
- There will be Lenten reflection following the Stations of the Cross.
Fasting - Ash Wednesday and Good Friday
- All between the ages of 18 and 59 limit one full meal on these days.
Days of Abstinence - Ash Wednesday and Fridays of Lent
- All who have reached their 14th year are bound to abstain total from meat.
Confessions
- Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
- 30 minutes before the masses on the weekends
