Mount Calvary Catholic School, founded in 1950, as a ministry of Mount Calvary Catholic Church, is a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Washington. Our mission is to provide an environment that fosters spirituality and growth in faith, an educational program that builds academic success, leadership that promotes strong character and a love of service to others.

Our dedicated educational professionals and support staff members are committed to carrying out the school's mission and the "Tradition of Excellence" through the use of a challenging academic curriculum that places a high priority on self-discipline, studious behavior and the "art of lifetime learning." Mount Calvary's use of the Archdiocesan Curriculum Standards and a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) ensures strong academic preparation for the wide variety of Catholic and public secondary schools our graduates choose to attend.

At Mount Calvary Catholic School, the formation of our young people is carried out with care, in ways that are based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. By making the educational philosophy concrete, we hope that we will serve to form responsible, caring and productive children, a sign that we are fulfilling our mission.
