The Mount Calvary Athletic Youth Organization functions under the guidance and leadership of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of the Archdiocese of Washington and provides the opportunity for students to participate in spring and fall sports. Parent volunteers coordinate and coach students in a variety of sports, under the direction of the Archdiocesan CYO Office.

All adults who have substantial contact with children and who volunteer in the school or for other approved school and parish sponsored activities, including CYO, must comply with the Child Protection Policy of the Archdiocese of Washingon.

There is a fee for participation in any CYO athletic program. Students enrolled in Mount Calvary Catholic School are permitted to participate on other CYO teams if the parish does not sponsor a sport or field a team.
