Mount Calvary Catholic School is operating on a regular schedule.

School is closed on Monday, February 20 for the President's Day holiday.

  • Third Quarter Progress Reports were included in the Yellow Communicator. Progress reports are being held for any family who currently has outstanding financial obligations. These include tuition, Extended Care payments, and Candy fundraiser monies. Students who have accounts that are 30 days past due are not permitted to return to school unless mutually agreed upon arrangements have been made with the administration.
  • Please join us as we begin the season of Lent on Wednesday, February 22 with Mass at 8:30 am in the church. You are invited to join us for Stations of the Cross on Friday, February 24 at 10:00 am in the church.
  • The Junior High Science Fair is on Thursday, Februarty 23 and Friday, February 24 in the Lower Hall. Please stop by to see the projects.
  • Annual Fish Fry is Friday, February 24. Remember to return order forms and payment to the school.
  • Congratulations to the MATHCOUNTS Team and Mr. Tom Brett their coach as they participated for the first time in the regional competition held at the University of Maryland Chemistry Building.
  • Re-registration forms are past due. Please return the forms and $50.00 fee ASAP.
  • The $200 non-refundable tuition deposit is due no later than Friday, February 24, to secure a space for your child in the 2012-2013 school year.
  • The Annual Black History Program is on Wednesday, February 29 at 10:00 am in the Blue Room. Classes are focusing on Black Inventors and what our lives would be like if they did not exist. 
  • Mount Calvary has been awarded a grant for a free booth at the Washington Convention Center April 2012. Rising 7th grade students have been invited to exhibit the Artbotic projects to visitors at the 2nd USA Science and Engineering Festival Final Expo.
