Ms. Kogut is the fifth grade teacher at Mount Calvary Catholic School. She joined the Mount Calvary learning community in October 2011. Her prior experience includes teaching at public and Catholic schools in Washington, DC. Ms. Kogut is certified to teach elementary education in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Kogut has attended Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Washington since first grade. She went on to receive her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. She feels fortunate that her family was able to provide her with a strong foundation of faith and respect in her education, which she now shares with her scholars. Outside of teaching, Ms. Kogut enjoys reading, taking pictures, and cheering for the Washington Redskins.
